Mui Ne

Mui Ne is a long, narrow town on Vietnam's south-east coast that turns into a kitesurf metropolis from November to April. The north-east monsoon drives steady 18-25 knot wind onto Mui Ne's open bay almost every afternoon for six months straight. It's affordable - you can live well here for £30 a day - and the local scene is friendly. Combine with a Vietnam loop and you have one of the best value kite holidays going.
