Dakhla

Dakhla sits at the end of a long sandy peninsula in Morocco's southern Atlantic coast. The lagoon it shelters is 40 km long, knee-to-waist deep, ringed by Sahara dunes, and almost permanently windy. It has become the spiritual home of competitive freestyle kiteboarding. There is virtually nothing here except kite camps, the lagoon, and the desert - which is exactly the point. The camps are all-inclusive and most flights connect via Casablanca.
